Sarah Leena Boujaoude, Miss Lebanon 2024 runner-up, is leaving Lebanon to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025, set to take place in Thailand on November 21, 2025.

She will spend the next 3 weeks there participating in events, interviews, and rehearsals leading up to the competition, where Victoria Theilvig of Denmark will crown her successor.

Sarah earned her place after finishing as runner-up to Nada Koussa, who was crowned Miss Lebanon 2024.

Before her, Yasmina Zaytoun, Miss Lebanon 2022, proudly represented Lebanon at Miss World 2024, where she placed as first runner-up – marking one of the country’s strongest showings in recent years.

Speaking to 961, Sarah said representing Lebanon at Miss Universe is “deeply personal.” She shared that she hopes to show the world “the strength, creativity, and kindness” of the Lebanese people and carry a message of resilience and hope to the global stage.

As she embarks on her journey to Thailand, Sarah said she feels both grateful and emotional, motivated by the thought of every Lebanese person watching and supporting her from home.

Miss Universe 2025 will bring together contestants from around the world, and Sarah is set to carry Lebanon’s pride and spirit to one of the most-watched stages in the world.
